Picture Perfect

Canopy makes it easy to showcase treasured memories where you can appreciate them every day.

Go Out On a Ledge

What’s the best way to draw attention to favorite photos that deserve front-and-center treatment? Stagger framed photos on a wall-mounted ledge. Wedding photos, birthday parties, anniversaries and other special occasions casually leaning against the wall in frames of various heights and shapes make even the most special memories right at home.

Easels Make It Easy

It’s easy to create a simple, everyday display the family can enjoy: On a tall sofa table or mantel, overlap an assortment of mix and match frames for an unfussy look.

Frames with easel backs in silver, black, mahogany and chestnut finishes stand at attention and play well together when every photo is in black and white, or turn favorite color photos sepia toned for a nostalgic look no matter how recent the shots.

For color shots, a variety frames in different, staggered heights and sizes—but all the same finish, such as black—still looks neat, but never stuffy.

But don’t limit displaying your memories to photos alone. A mix of photos, artwork and other memorabilia or frame-friendly collectibles—like event tickets suspended between glass in "floating" frames—can really tell a story you never want to forget.

Climb the Wall

Whether scattered casually to fill a space or hugged in tight to make a statement, framed photos on the wall always catch the eyes of guests and are quick to remind family of special moments.

To create a streamlined feel, use photos in identical frames in a neat row (or two or ten!). Be precise with your measurements placing frames just an inch or two apart to form a large rectangle or square. Hang photos at the center of your display at “eye level” which is generally considered about five feet high—or a bit higher for rooms with taller ceilings.

For a more casual feel, fill a wall with photos in a variety of frame sizes and finishes. Mix color photos with black and white, art projects and frame-able keepsakes to capture the mood of a special time or event.

A classic setting for photo displays, the wall leading up the stairs offers a close up, stop-and-look opportunity for guests and family alike.

For display look with high impact, group frames and center your display with an over-sized or collage frame with multiple photo openings, then place smaller, identical frames to either side symmetrically.

Remember: It’s a myth that photos show best on a white wall. Deeper colors—even red, if you dare—help photos stand out.

To keep things fresh for friends and family, put an annual reminder on your calendar to switch out photos or switch up frames on your wall display.
